Hey there, my name is Michael Wanguhu! I'm a filmmaker, promoter, family man, and proud father of two wonderful girls. Originally from Kenya, I now call California's Bay Area home (Go, Warriors!).
I've been making films for almost two decades and truly enjoy my work both in the corporate world and independently, producing projects that I'm passionate about. My goal has always been to broaden, elevate, and diversify people's perceptions of Africa by dispelling the one-dimensional narrative often told about the continent.
As a diasporan, I've dedicated much of my life to telling the African story from my perspective and working with brands that want to create multicultural content that engages and elevates conversations through film and video. I'm passionate about producing stories that continue elaborating on who we are as a people and pushing the world forward.
